A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Your neighbor hasn't been seen in almost two years. He was last seen the night before an alleged UFO sighting in your neighborhood. Most believe he is dead, but you suspect he is alive and hiding something. And tonight, you set out to prove it.  

CONTROLS

  • W, A, S, D - Movement
  • E - Interact
  • Left Mouse - Take Picture
  • Right Mouse - Aim
  • Scroll - Adjust Zoom
  • Spacebar - Menu

Install instructions

Windows: 

Open the downloaded ZIP file and click the application file titled "The Neighbor" within the extracted folder to play. Be sure to keep the application within the folder because it depends on the other files. 

Mac:

Open the downloaded ZIP file and keep the extracted file in downloads. Then, open terminal and run the following command:

chmod u+x Downloads/TheNeighbor.app/Contents/MacOS/The\ Neighbor

Then you should be able to click the file and open it. If you get a message similar to "TheNeighbor cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified", open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and allow the app to be opened.
